Salary: £20k - £25k depending on experience

AMX Europe are looking to recruit a Technical Support Engineer into our offices at Clifton Moor Industrial Estate, York.

Previous support desk experience would be an advantage, together with a methodological, process-driven approach to fault finding and diagnostics. Enquiries mainly come in by telephone so customer facing skills are essential, as is an empathic nature and the ability to communicate effectively. Although training will be given on AMX products, a technical background with the products or technologies below would be a distinct advantage.

Products supported by our team include IPTV, digital signage, VOIP and intercom, digital and analog signal routing and management, touch-screen panels, Audio/Visual and TCP/IP control equipment, high-level programming languages, WLAN and Zigbee, and server-based software products.

We would like to hear from applicants with experience of Audio/Visual technologies, especially digital signal routing and switching.
