Description
The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a global manufacturer of Audio Visual solutions working in Northern France.
The Field Sales Engineer (FSE) is responsible for providing the technical due diligence necessary to uncover the best collaboration solution for the clients' needs. The FSE will then work with the Reseller and the Regional Sales Manager from initial contact to post sales to ensure the solution is scoped and installed properly.

You will keep the product development team apprised of any solution requests coming from clients and act as post-sales resource for clients to ensure operability of solution and understanding of features/functionalities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Support Regional Sales Managers by providing technical recommendations during discovery phase of the sales cycle * Support the customer post-sales to ensure proper utilisation of solution * Pro-actively engage resellers within the top 100 Reseller customer base to uncover opportunities to provide technical support to clients that could positively impact revenue *Maintain timely and accurate data and records in CRM
*Act as liaison between resellers and customers to provide feedback on market and industry trends, competitive data and solution requirements. * Be the go-to expert in a collaborative sales approach with our strategic partners, channels community and clients
* Ensure client satisfaction and establish reference clients
* Represent our client at client partner meetings, trade shows, events and conferences
*Travel required

Based in Northern France there is a competitive salary of circa Euros 50k p.a. with Euros 62.5k on target earnings plus car allowance of Euros 500 per month.
You must be fluent in both French and English - spoken and written.

Your skills and experience

You will ideally have a degree and/or industry specific experience with 5+ years in a field sales engineering role, preferably in AV hardware/software solutions selling for a high-growth organisation. Proven track record of high goal achievement and revenue building is required.

* Skilled at providing technical demonstrations of our client's collaboration solutions
* Energetic, self-starter with an established skill set in engineering and training
* Comfortable working with both resellers and clients at varying Corporate levels
*Adept at multi-tasking and working with various departments, resellers and clients simultaneously
* Ability to scope collaboration solutions directly with clients and/or resellers to ensure proper network integration
