Description: The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to join a leading AV IT Integrator to service and install AV and VC solutions to their customers in London and the South East.

Your role will include attending customer sites to provide maintenance and warranty support of IT and AV hardware and software products within the required Service Level Agreement (SLA) including retail customers and to provide installation services on a wide range of integrated audio visual and video conferencing technologies in both the corporate and public sectors.

Key responsibilities:

▪You will install whole systems, including classroom solutions (interactive technologies, classroom audio, projectors and screens), board room systems (audio and video), video conferencing suites and digital signage. Some systems will also require installation of Crestron and AMX control systems and appropriate cabling infrastructure.
▪Undertake AV related installations on all customer sites and locations.
▪Will be required to work at heights on occasion.
▪Perform maintenance visits and on-going support
▪Utilise PDA to check and update allocated calls in a timely manner to achieve required SLA and reflect actual work done in real time.
▪Communicate with Call Administration and the Branch throughout the day.
▪Complete part movements (RMA generation physical movement) in a timely manner, returning items as directed by the Branch.
▪Work a certain amount of overtime when required to do so.
▪Understand and adhere to the companys policies and procedures.
▪Must be professional and presentable at all times.
▪Must be able to embrace new technologies and adapt to change

Based in London or Home Counties, salary is circa £34k doe plus company vehicle and benefits.

Your skills and experience

▪A proven track record in field based Audio Visual installations, maintenance and operation
▪Must have worked with corporate and/or government clients and in multi-discipline project teams, and have the ability to work with a variety of professionals
▪To be proficient installing modern Video Conferencing systems and AV equipment, including interactive whiteboards, projectors, screens, digital signage audio products and control systems
▪Ideally hold an InfoComm CTS I/S/D certification.
▪Ideally hold Tandberg TCAP/TCE1 Certification and completed the Polycom CVE program.
▪An understanding of AV systems integration with existing IT systems is essential
▪You are required to hold a full drivers licence and you will also need to be CRB checked.
▪Applicants may be requested to utilise company vehicles in order to carry out their duties so a full driving licence will be required
▪Applicants will be the face of the Company so therefore will possess good Customer Service skills and have the ability to take on and own Customer issues
▪Requirement to undergo various security clearance processes.
