- The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading and award winning Audio Visual Integration company.
Our client is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help them meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing the sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the Managing Director.
▪Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
▪Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands companys customer base and ensure its strong presence within its existing client portfolio
▪Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
▪Liaising with Regional Director(s) to ensure a common and coordinated sales plan.
▪Setting KPIs and targets for the Sales team
▪Close working relationship with the Marketing Department to ensure a coordinated approach to Client and Supplier engagement.
▪Develop and manage Supplier relationships and facilitate product training for the sales team.
▪Manage recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales team.
▪Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
▪Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
▪Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to move to Director level in the medium term.
Ideally based in the North West or West Yorkshire salary is competitive and negotiable - circa £50k basic doe with OTE bonus based on team targets, car or car allowance and excellent benefits.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will have:
▪Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
▪Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
▪Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
▪Proven ability to drive the sales process from initiation to job completion
▪Strong business and commercial sense and Audio Visual industry expertise
▪Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
