- The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help our client expand their clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting new business sales and forging strong relationships with clients and opening up new opportunities with those existing clients.
Work is purely Business to Business. Initially a 60 / 40 New business to existing business leads split until you can build up and maintain your own customer base. A strong focus on Service is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives
Keep records up to date on internal systems
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Engage and open up cold business opportunities.
Work and focus on new Service opportunities as well as making sure all existing customers have a Service agreement.
Based in the City, salary will be neg. doe £40k-£50k basic with uncapped OTE £68k-£78k plus benefits
Your skills and experience
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role (Ideally in the tech industry)
Proven sales track record
Experience in customer support is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
Proficiency in English
Market knowledge
Communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport
Time management and planning skills
