- The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller and Service Delivery Coordinator, who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service, to join a growing company at the forefront of technology. Our client is a successful technology company selling solutions to Education and corporate customers across the UK.
You will be required to proactively support and deliver the needs of both internal and external customers. The role includes responsibility and ownership of the business processes, ensuring the highest levels of productivity and customer service are maintained. This requires excellent interpersonal and listening skills, including an outstanding telephone manner.
As well as processing customer orders using the company's in house CRM database, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Sales team and offer support by liaising and negotiating with suppliers and manufacturers. This will require you to demonstrate high levels of team work, ensuring achievement of the customers' requirements with the most productive outcome for the business. You will gain experience in the credit control of the company's customers and at times, you may also have the opportunity to meet clients face to face at their new Yeadon facility.
You will also be responsible for Credit Control working on the Sales Ledger and contacting Customers regarding payments as well as allocating payments received and order processing and issuing of sales invoices via Sage Line 50.
This is an exciting, multi-skilled role, reporting to and supported by the Service Delivery Manager and Finance Manager. You will have the chance to engage in a wide variety of projects to assist in the success of the business processes and where possible, exceed the needs of the customer, all within a business at the forefront of its kind.
Audio Visual or technology product and industry knowledge is desirable but by no means essential.
Based in fabulous offices near Leeds Bradford Airport, salary is circa £18k -£20k plus pension and benefits.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will have:
▪Experience working as part of a team
▪An excellent telephone manner
▪Be able to demonstrate exceptional levels of customer service and influence others to emulate this quality
▪Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), covering all media and to a wide audience base
▪Ability to build and sustain relationships and continually evaluate the changing needs of the business and its customers
▪Meticulous attention to detail.
▪Logging and tracking customer queries using CRM system
▪Proficient in Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CRM systems (Salesforce or similar).
▪Excellent organisational skills.
▪Flexible approach to responsibilities.
▪Use own initiative - problem solving and working to deadlines are key requirements of this role
▪Ability to understand and apply SLAs/contracts in relation to meeting customer needs
▪Dealing effectively with complaints before the need for escalation to the Service Delivery Manager.
▪Experience in using Sage Line 50 accounts, good numeracy skills
▪Sales Ledger/Credit control experience
▪Chasing customer debts by phone/email
▪Allocation of payments received
▪Issuing of all sales invoices
▪Order processing
▪Knowledge of bank factoring accounts preferable but not essential
