- The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join an award winning Audio Visual Integrator as Audio Visual Systems Control Programmer. Experience in all or some of the following brands, Crestron / AMX / Extron Pro is essential.
The role will see the successful candidate working both independently and as part of a busy team delivering audio visual solutions to
clients in sectors which include universities, museums, hotels, healthcare, sports stadia, public sector and corporate clients.
The successful candidate will be required to write, test and commission control system programs for audio visual solutions. Work will be both off-site and on-site and will be predominantly in the UK, although some overseas work may be required from time to time.
Key responsibilities:
▪Ability to set up audio DSPs (eg Bss, Extron DMP, Biamp, Q-SYS etc)
▪Experience as an AV engineer/commissioner with skills in fault finding/technical support
▪Experience in Crestron Simpl# (or C#)
▪Experience in Extron Global Scripter (or Python)
Based ideally in the North West or West Yorkhire, salary is competitive and negotiable plus an excellent benefits package.
Your Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
▪A minimum of 2 years practical experience in an Audio-Visual Programming role
▪A good technical knowledge of audio-visual Systems with a technical background within the AV industry
▪A good knowledge of current AV technologies
▪Ability to read technical drawings
▪High level of computer literacy and a good understanding of networking and associated protocols
▪Good communication skills both verbal and written.
▪The ablility to communicate to colleagues and with clients is crucial
▪The drive to work to the highest quality standards with attention to detail ensuring that works are completed thoroughly, never walking away from a problem.
▪Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner and present a positive image to the customer
▪Be organised and flexible with the ability to approach different types of tasks during the working day
▪Be able to prioritise and work under pressure
