- The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join a successful Audio Visual integrator as Technical Project Manager, joining their technical team to assist with the delivery of high- quality installation projects throughout Scotland (and occassionally Northern England).
Based out of their Glasgow office and working on customer sites (national work and overseas travel may be required from time to time), this role plays a vital part in the ongoing delivery of high-quality integrated AV solutions to universities, museums, hotels, public sector and corporate clients.
Key responsibilities:
▪Attendance at client meetings and undertaking of technical site surveys to assist in the definition of project scope and objectives from which system designs will be derived
▪Evaluation of sales orders/BOM prior to ordering and project commencement
▪The generation of project documentation including, AV Layout Drawings, System Schematics, Rack Layouts and any other drawings as required in AutoCad/Visio/Stardraw
▪Assisting with final commissioning and debugging/fault finding in conjunction with the project team Assisting with system handovers to clients
▪Compilation, approval and submission of OM documentation to main contractors/clients Provision of technical guidance and support to the Sales Team and Engineers
▪Lead the planning and implementation of projects
▪Identify resources required, select appropriate personnel, assign responsibilities, monitor and report on the progress of the project
▪The coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and scope
Based in Glasgow, salary is competitive and negotiable plus excellent benefits package including car allowance.
Your skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
▪Minimum 3 years experience working within a similar position in the Industry with an AV background.
▪Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
▪Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
▪Have a keen attention to detail
▪Excellent organisational skills
▪Have the ability/initiative to work on your own
▪Be confident and professional when dealing with clients.
▪Have AVIXA CTS, CTS-D or CTS-I accreditation
▪Hold qualifications in project management (Prince 2, PMP etc.)
▪Be conversant with software tools including. MS Visio, StarDraw, AutoCAD, MS Project
▪Have a track record in delivering multiple concurrent, high-value AV projects
