- The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a global company and receive on-going training as an Audio Visual/Video Conferencing junior engineer. You must have at least one year's experience in commercial or residential Audio Visual installation.
Our client has a permanent full-time position available immediately in their Operations Team, for a Junior Audio Visual Installation Engineer.
Working as part of a global team, our client's engineering teams are involved in the installation and integration of high end corporate audio visual systems including video walls, control systems, conferencing systems and HD video distribution equipment
Full training is provided internally, further manufacturer training will be offered to candidates who display the required technical ability
A strong work ethic and the ability to work alone on own initiative or as part of a team is a must
Carrying out first and second fix installation activities on time and to the required standard, under the guidance and direction of Senior Engineers and Project Managers
Working from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans and drawings
Based in Surrey/Sussex salary is circa £18k-£20k p.a. plus benefits and training. Travel overseas and across UK is part of the job role.
Your skills and experience
▪The successful candidate will ideally have Electronics or Electrical qualifications or background and must have at least one year's experience as an AV/VC engineer.
▪Candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to work both as part of a team or in isolation, while maintaining the highest levels of quality.
▪Be presentable, articulate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
▪Meeting or exceeding all set performance project objectives.
▪Working in collaboration with colleagues and 3rd-parties to ensure customer satisfaction.
▪Be organised, flexible and able to overcome challenges during the working day
▪A strong work ethic and the ability to work alone on own initiative or as part of a team is a must.
