- The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to work with a global leading company to support post sales of their moving heads lighting products. You will promote the interests of the company by supporting system integrators as well as distributors and end-users in the rectification of product issues. You may also be required to support EMEA sales teams and effort with technical support.
Key responsibilities:
▪Perform technical support to distributor and subsidiary service teams.
▪Creation of cases, monitoring and reporting in CRM and warranty systems
▪Create and maintain service item data in ERP system.
▪Administration of service tasks related to new product development projects.
▪Participation in product development projects.
▪Create and maintain technical bulletins, service documentation etc.
▪Service tasks related to engineering change orders.
▪Assist in development and creation of service and aftermarket products.
▪Onsite support on critical customer cases when needed.
▪Perform technical training within assigned product segment.
Based in Herts/Greater London salary is competitive negotiable with an excellent benefits package (circa £32k p.a.)
Your skills and responsibilities
▪You will ideally be qualified to HNC / HND level in electronics or another relevant subject, but may be qualified by experience.
▪5+ years related experience.
▪Strong knowledge of theatre type lighting products and lighting theory to component level is an advantage.
▪Ability to work independently.
▪Strong written and verbal communication skills.
▪Fluent English is required; skills in other languages are an advantage.
▪High Level of professionalism and integrity.
▪Self-Motivated.
▪Electrician, electronic technician or other similar technical back ground.
▪Experienced use of Microsoft Office
