- The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a growing company at the forefront of technology. Our client is a successful technology company selling solutions to Education and Corporate customers across the UK. The role is part-time (ideally 10am.-2 p.m. Monday to Friday and during Term Time only).
You will be responsible for Credit Control working on the Sales Ledger and contacting Customers regarding payments as well as allocating payments received and order processing and issuing of sales invoices via Sage Line 50.
This is a multi-skilled role, reporting to and supported by the Service Delivery Manager and Finance Manager. You will have the chance to engage in a wide variety of projects to assist in the success of the business processes and where possible, exceed the needs of the customer, all within a business at the forefront of its kind.
Based in fabulous offices near Leeds Bradford Airport, salary is circa £18k -£20k pro-rata, plus pension and benefits.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will have:
▪Experience in using Sage Line 50 accounts, good numeracy skills
▪Sales Ledger/Credit control experience
▪Chasing customer debts by phone/email
▪Allocation of payments received
▪Issuing of all sales invoices
▪Order processing
▪Knowledge of bank factoring accounts preferable but not essential
▪Experience working as part of a team
▪An excellent telephone manner
▪Be able to demonstrate exceptional levels of customer service
▪Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), covering all media and to a wide audience base
▪Ability to build and sustain relationships and continually evaluate the changing needs of the business and its customers
▪Meticulous attention to detail.
▪Excellent organisational skills.
▪Flexible approach to responsibilities.
