- The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a world leader in Audio Visual Integration as Services Architect in their Home Counties offices but working globally.
The prime function of the Service Architect is to provide pre and post sales Service Design support to our client's Global Account Managers and Directors who have responsibility for managing Global Services (GS) customers.
This role requires a self-starter who can clearly demonstrate an aptitude for service design and development, along with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
The role is focused on understanding new and existing customer requirements and aligning GS services to create compelling value propositions. This involves understanding the current GS service portfolio, whilst also looking for areas of development in line with new customer requirements and ensuring that GS services are sold in accordance with defined standards and service levels. This includes working closely with the global operational leads in developing and implementing processes to ensure successful implementation, best practice across the department and assisting with the design of CSI (continual service improvement) initiatives for the services being delivered.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work seamlessly with customers and internal Global Services teams (sales and operational leads) to position a plan and strategy that resonates with key stakeholders
Be a GS evangelist to both client and internal teams by outlining the value of the service proposition
Support Sales and Business Development in the creation of content, proposals and perform tender management for new and existing GS customers
Assist Sales in the alignment of customer requirement to the GS services portfolio and commercial models
Maintain and manage records of service description content to support ongoing service definition and tender responses
Prepare and deliver presentations to existing and prospective GS customers
Work closely with the GS and Sales management
Work with GS operational teams to execute on implementation plans
Build and nurture relationships with global peers within the GS Service Architect team
Assist GS Management in the assignment of customer aligned teams and identify skills gaps during the onboarding of new GS customers
Assist with the recruitment of new Service Architects into the global GS team
Overseeing the creation and maintenance of appropriate service documentation to support the GS service proposition
Collaborate with regional counterparts and support global operational teams to drive the adoption of global initiatives and support their development.
Identify opportunities for organic growth across the portfolio of services and contracts.
Based in our client's offices in Greater London, salary is commensurate with the high level of skill and expertise needed in this challenging role - £75k plus benefits.
Your skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
A genuine passion for creative thinking in a fast-paced and pressured operational environment
In-depth understanding of the AV and Visual Collaboration industry and technologies
Ability to understand and communicate complex service capabilities into real-world scenarios
Strong business writing and presentation skills
Independent thinker with excellent collaboration skills and a proven track record in problem solving in client, office and remote working environments
5 Years experience in a similar role in either AV or IT
Strong working knowledge of ITIL with ITIL v3 Foundation as a minimum
Highly developed service-focused attitude
Strong situational awareness
Excellent customer service skills
Commercially astute with a good understanding of AV service contracts or comparable IT commercial experience
Professional in appearance and attitude
Educated to at least A level with a relevant technical qualification desirable
Fully IT literate with strong MS Office skills
