- The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading supplier of technology into education, managing and growing the sales pipeline, winning business and developing a team of internal sales professionals as Customer Retention Sales Manager.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Overseeing sales activity of a team of experienced sales colleagues, ensuring sales opportunities are maximised
and closed
Creating, managing and improving a regime of keeping in touch with 500+ customers; supporting, advising and
cross-selling our client's product range
Leading this activity by making calls yourself, demonstrating best practice and winning business
Managing and growing a team of (currently) two internal telephone sales people
Planning and implementing sales and awareness campaigns in partnership with marketing, targeting specific
customer segments, geographical areas and also generating new business
Analysis and reporting of performance and trends to Directors, making and implementing strategic
recommendations to drive the company forward
Based near Leeds/Bradford airport, salary is competitive circa £30k-£35k basic plus uncapped commission and benefits.
Your skills and experience
An experienced internal sales manager with a proven history of growing sales, as well as developing, motivating
and coaching a team in a collaborative, fun and hard-working environment
An individual with a demonstrated record of effective telephone sales, who is fluent in the sales process
Experience of using a CRM system including analysis of customer data and sales performance
An effective people motivator/coach who will thrive in a fun, friendly, focused working environment
An aptitude to planning activity, management of data and a discipline to keep a tidy, clean and productive sales
pipeline
Previous experience selling technology into education would be beneficial.
You will play an essential role in contributing to the strong growth this company is already experiencing. The need for cold calling will be minimal; the need is for a hard-working, creative sales leader to help take our client into the next phase of growth.
