- The Opportunity
This is an exciting role at a leading supplier of technology into education, prioritising and maximising incoming leads and opportunities, managing an extensive sales pipeline and generating business from existing customers.
You will work with an existing, successful team of field sales people and will also develop a new team of internal sales professionals.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Ensuring company sales opportunities are maximised and closed, helping increase conversion rate and speed of response whilst keeping sales team accountable to KPIs
· Analysis of pipeline, sales and customer data, building and sustaining the sales plan.
· Creating, managing and improving a regime of keeping in touch with our 500+ customers; supporting, advising and cross-selling our product range
· Building, coaching and managing a team of internal telephone salespeople, growing capacity according to the sales pipeline.
· Planning and implementing sales and awareness campaigns in partnership with marketing, targeting specific customer segments and specific product campaigns to generate new business.
· Reporting of performance and trends to Directors, making and implementing strategic recommendations to help drive the company forward.
· Leading from the front by making calls yourself, demonstrating best practice and winning business
Based in modern offices in Leeds (close to the airport) salary is £30k-£35k p.a. neg doe plus uncapped commission structure and benefits (£50k p.a. OTE)
Your skills and experience
· An experienced internal sales manager with a proven history of growing sales, as well as developing, motivating and coaching a team in a collaborative, fun and hard-working environment
· An individual with a demonstrated record of effective telephone sales, who is fluent in the sales process
· You will understand how to grow sales by analysing customer data and sales performance and to get the best information from using a CRM system to ensure all opportunities are maximised.
· An aptitude to planning activity, management of data and a discipline to keep a tidy, clean and productive company sales pipeline.
The individual will play an essential role in contributing to the strong growth this company is already experiencing. The need for cold calling will be minimal; the need is for a hard-working, creative sales leader to help take our company into our next phase of growth.
