Role Description
Ensure that AV hardware and software is prepared to meet the needs of the organisation.
Storing, transporting, assembling, and disassembling AV equipment.
Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
Collecting items throughout the warehouse, preparing, and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer. Stock counting and location checks.
Managing ConnectWise by ensuring all Procurement and Logistical information is within the system.
As a warehouse operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain business performance targets.
This role will best suit an upbeat and self-motivated individual who enjoys working systematically and productively.
This is a fast paced and energised environment, and this role will rely on organisation and efficiency. It will also require a moderate level of fitness to enable you to comfortably carry out tasks.
Picking and packing products can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching, and lifting.
Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.
Based in Wimbledon, SW London, salary is £20k-£25k p.a. doe plus benefits.
Your skills and experience
Equipment setup/Configuration is key to the success of this role. It would be an advantage if you have any IT based training so that media players can be pre-staged before sent out to our Clients/Engineers.
