- The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Audio Visual Installation Engineer to join an AV Manufacturer and learn more about LED.
The LED/AV Installation Engineer will prep for projects in the office but mainly be visiting client sites nationally and internationally to carry out installation projects. Supported by a hugely talented technical and operational management team, you will work collaboratively to solve problems and update clients, ensuring a first-class end to end service.
KEY DUTIES:
Installation of LED Display systems to the highest standards including:
o 1st fix works - Cable management and structural steelwork, fixings etc.
o 2nd fix installation of LED Displays both indoor and out, System configuration,
Handover checks Commissioning
Work collaboratively with other members of the install team to achieve
deadlines together and of consistent quality
Interpret and follow technical and construction drawings
Preparing equipment and tools prior to installation
Follow and maintain housekeeping standards onsite and at the warehouse
Carrying out maintenance visits (planned and reactive) to fault-find and
undertake repairs
Assist in improving efficiency and project delivery by ensuring processes and
good working practices are maintained
Attend team briefings and be proactive in providing ideas and suggestions
Providing feedback and support to the operations management following
completion of an installation, including help with commissioning or snagging
Attend third-party training as appropriate for the role, (such as, PASMA, IPAF,
ECS, asbestos awareness, working at height, etc
Based in the SW - M4 Corridor - salary will be £35k-£40k plus benefits and use of company vehicle.
Your skills and experience
A Technical Audio-Visual background, preferably in LED but training will be given on LED if you have strong AV experience
Preferably, experience working in an installation role
Systems experience
Experience working with a project management software - preferred
A problem solver with fault fixing and repair experience
Happy to work alone, but flexible to work with the wider team
Demonstrable customer service experience
Enthusiastic and positive, can-do attitude
Good time keeping and with pride in their work
