- The Opportunity
Our busy client is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to oversee the purchase ledger function, whilst also supporting the Finance Team as required.
The role can be full time or part time (min/ 20 hours per week) or Term time only.
The candidate will have ownership of business processes and ensure high service levels are maintained to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Reconcile supplier invoices against purchase orders
Code and enter supplier invoices into Sage
Check and reconcile supplier monthly statements
Liaison with suppliers and other departments
Raise GRAs (goods return advices) when required to instigate the return of goods
Case management using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Warranty Registration and accurate recording of products within the CRM system
Utilising in-house CRM for recording and referencing information
Flexibility to cover other roles as required
Based in Yeadon, close to LBA, Salary is £20k-£25k p.a. doe (pro-rata if part time) plus benefits
Your skills and experience
Self-motivated with good attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft 365
Experience as working as part of a team
Excellent telephone manner including exceptional levels of customer service
Excellent organisational skills with a flexible approach to responsibilities
Desirable Experience
Experience with Sage Line 50
Working with a CRM system
The role is reporting into and supported by the Finance Manager.
