- The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an energetic, innovative marketer to play a vital role supporting the growth of this leading company, supplying technology into the education sector. Ideal for an experienced Marketing Executive looking to step up to the next level.
The key focus will be to develop and manage a process of delighting and retaining their large customer base, nurturing them into loyal brand advocates who provide our client with repeat business. Innovation and improvement, whilst monitoring ROI.
There are also several exciting new projects coming up new platforms, new ventures and new initiatives. You will play a central role in building and delivering these.
You need to have solid experience within all aspects of the marketing mix and you will supervise a Digital Marketing Assistant to help achieve your objectives.
Key roles responsibilities:
Development and management of a regime of customer marketing communications with over 1,000 schools. To include email marketing automation and other strategies
Creation of a set of ‘product toolkits, supporting colleagues to understand, explain and sell our core ranges
Using video to inform and support our customers, and to generate brand awareness and sales leads
Management and improvement of two ecommerce websites to maximise generation of quality sales leads, including content, optimisation, SEO, Analytics and Google Ads
Management and improvement of main company website including blog content, product content and similar
Sourcing, creating and promoting customer success stories
Contributing to branding and visuals through use of Adobe Creative Suite/Canva
Creation of digital and hard-copy customer support information, product information sheets, how-to guides and similar
Management and growth of social media channels, currently LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube
Management and promotion of online and live company events and webinars
Liaising with and supporting sales colleagues to support their activity
A range of other marketing and development activities as required and agreed
Based in North Leeds, close to the airport, salary is £30k doe plus bonuses and benefits.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will be an experienced Marketing Executive ideally working within the technology marketplace.
You will have a solid marketing background of 3-5 years
The skills and experience to achieve the above responsibilities
Willingness to learn and develop your own skills with our client's support
Creative, with a can-do attitude and with a desire to excel
Experience of managing a website including updating content images, managing digital marketing programmes, SEO PPC programme analysis management and use and understanding of Google Analytics.
A good understanding of marketing principles (CIM would be beneficial)
In-depth understanding of SEO and Social Media
Excellent communication skills with a high standard of English both written verbal
The ability to specify technical changes
Highly organised and methodical in approach with an analytical mind, comfortable with manipulating and analysing data
Strong people management skills.
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be well resourced with a wide range of marketing and promotional tools there to help you excel and to achieve your objectives. You will be joining a friendly, supportive team of colleagues at an exciting time for this growing company
