Description
The Opportunity

A new division for this successful Audio Visual Technology Distributor is being launched which will be responsible for Unified Communications and Collaboration technology. This is a strategic growth project for the company and is mostly incremental to current revenues. The nature of the technology and the specific, new brands require a unique level of knowledge, experience and understanding.

The role will be that of an internal sales specialist. Working with brand management to ensure stock levels, marketing programmes and commercials are competitive. Working with customers to ensure they receive expert advice and guidance. Working with the sales team to educate them into how to sell the brands within the category and aligning to the vendors to ensure they have the necessary support in place.

Key Tasks

Work with Brand Management team to ensure stock profile is optimised
Work with Brand Management team and Marketing team to help design and build
propositions
Form and maintain strong relationships with all brands in the portfolio
Form and maintain strong relationships with the sales team
Form strong relationships with the Services division to include added value partner branded
services to UC opportunities
Identify and customise SaaS (software as a service) and HaaS (hardware as a service)
opportunity for sales teams
Identify and align to influencers (design team, PM, sales team) and decision makers within
customer base, most likely to sell UCC technologies.
Upskill sales team to enable them to sell the technologies within the category
Carry out product positioning activities Shoot outs, events, training, demonstrations.
Work on sales opportunities to design in or ensure our client's products win.
Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities, which ultimately help the division to
achieve its targets
Provide weekly forecasts
Achieve targets and KPIs set by line manager

Based in Berkshire, Hants or Surrey Salary will be £40k-£45k p.a. £60k OTE plus pension, health care and other benefits.

Specific knowledge of Unified Communications
Previous/current experience successfully selling Poly and Barco Click Share
Previous/current experience successfully selling ‘as service, software and cloud propositions
