- The Opportunity
Our client is a leading company supplying technology into the education sector and are looking for an energetic and innovative Marketing Manager to play a vital role in supporting their continuing growth.
As well as growing brand awareness as a leader in their sector, a key focus will be to develop and manage a process of delighting and retaining their large customer base, nurturing them into loyal brand advocates who tell their peers and provide the company with repeat business.
There are also several exciting new projects coming up new platforms, new ventures and new initiatives. The candidate will play a central role in building and delivering these.
You will have solid experience of all aspects of the marketing mix. You will supervise a Digital Marketing Assistant to help achieve our objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Development and management of a regime of customer marketing communications withover 1,000 schools. To include email marketing automation and other strategies
Creation of a set of ‘product toolkits, supporting colleagues to understand, explain and sell the core ranges
Using video to inform and support customers, and to generate brand awareness and sales leads
Management and improvement of two ecommerce websites to maximise generation of quality sales leads, including content, optimisation, SEO, Analytics Google Ads
Management and improvement of main company website including blog content, product content and similar
Sourcing, creating and promoting customer success stories
Contributing to branding and visuals through use of Adobe Creative Suite/Canva
Creation of digital and hard-copy customer support information, product information sheets, how-to guides and similar
Management and growth of social media channels, currently LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube
Management and promotion of online and live company events and webinars
Liaising with and supporting sales colleagues to support their activity
A range of other marketing and development activities as required and agreed
Based in Leeds, near the airport, salary is £35k p.a. plus bonus opportunities and benefits.
Your skills and experience
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be well resourced with a wide range of marketing and promotional tools there to help you excel and to achieve your objectives.
You'll be joining a friendly, supportive team of colleagues at an exciting time for this growing company.
You will be an individual with a solid marketing background of at least 5 years
Have the skills and experience to achieve the above responsibilities

Creative, with a can-do attitude and with a desire to excel as an individual, a team and the company.
