- The Opportunity
Our client is a leader in Video Communications across the UK. They are currently looking for a Unified Communications Business Development Manager to join their amazing team!
Supported by a dedicated Internal Salesperson, the role will initially be pre-dominantly new business led with a mandate to cross sell UC to their large portfolio of VC AV customers, identify and target new businesses in the SME Mid-Market Commercial Sector and leverage their position on the Crown Commercial Services Framework for Unified Communications.
The team is in a significant growth phase and this is a great opportunity to join the team and to help achieve the companys ambitious plans in the UC CC space. As such you will be a key member of the Sales Team with the unique opportunity to put your own stamp on the role in this early stage.
Responsibilities
Consistently achieve a realistic sales target which is generously commissioned monthly, quarterly annually.
Help to develop your dedicated internal support to achieve the highest standard of lead generation.
Attend meetings generated by your internal support and internal marketing function.
Cross-sell UC to existing VC AV customer base in partnership with the existing Account Manager
Self-Generate opportunities from organisations that have been identified and targeted as an ideal fit for our client's business.
Work closely with vendor partners on deal registrations and managing pipeline.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations
Maintain accurate data and customer status within the CRM
Based in the North (North of M52 corridor), salary will be circa £35k p.a. (neg,doe) with uncapped commission, £5k p.a. car allowance and benefits.
Your skills and experience
Ideal experience will include selling VoIP, Telecoms, UCaaS CCaaS and experience with a leading UCaaS vendor such as RingCentral or 8x8 would be advantageous.
You will have excellent communication and presentation skills.
You must be a good relationship builder with excellent communication skills, both face to face and on the phone.
A team player you must be highly motivated and driven to succeed.
You must have a passion for delivering excellence in all of your communications with customers so that they see you as a “one stop shop” for all of the UC solutions.
