- The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an exciting, expanding and professional, client focused Audio Visual technical support company.
Well established, our client supports live corporate events throughout Europe and beyond, and deliver exceptional technical support and premium Audio Visual equipment to their well respected client partners.
In your key role as a Project Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing a wide range of events, both internationally and across the UK. You will be at the front line of our client's service, delivering their company vision and ethos and providing their clients with the most exceptional AV technical support services in the UK. You will be part of an expanding, enthusiastic, highly committed and knowledgeable team.
This exciting challenging role will include:
▪Professional client liaison
▪Technical interpretation of a live production brief
▪Specification of AV equipment for live events
▪Conducting technical site inspections at the pre-production stage and producing reports
▪Responsibility for onsite delivery of service to clients
▪Responsibility for managing onsite teams
▪Managing onsite Health Safety with supplier partners
▪Producing quotations and technical 2D CAD plans
▪Managing budgets effectively
▪Post event analysis and de-brief
You must be eligible to work in the UK, be flexible with international travel and hold a current full UK driving licence.
Ideally based in the Midlands (the company's offices are there but travel is throughout UK Europe). There is an excellent salary on offer which is negotiable dependent upon experience - circa £38k-£45k + p.a. plus car and benefits.
Your skills and experience
You must possess an ability to work pro-actively in a highly organised and process driven team environment and be a confident decision maker. Under pressure you will need the ability to react positively and immediately, critically delivering all services with a professional attitude in the live environment.
Experience and technical knowledge in any of the main disciplines of live events, be it Audio, Video, Projection or Lighting is an advantage but not critical - you may possess an all-embracing technical understanding of the corporate AV sector instead. You should have proven experience of working in the corporate live events industry, either for a technical support company, production company or working within a Freelance environment.
You must be passionate about exceptional customer service and delivery.
