- The Opportunity
This role represents an exciting opportunity to join a global manufacturer at a key stage in the companys UK growth and development. With new product launches on the horizon and an exciting portfolio of quality products to promote, you will be instrumental in growing the business with key AV partners. Products include, HDMI, DVI matrix switchers, signal extenders and accessories for the professional audio visual market.
Key Responsibilities:
▪Responsible for directing and developing sales strategy in UK and Ireland.
▪Delivering, as part of a small team, monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the managing director.
▪Executing ongoing sales enquiries from existing customer base. Initiating and monitoring all aspects of a sale from stock order to product delivery.
▪Delivering high quality presentations to existing and potential customers.
▪Providing feed back to the Product development team located in Europe
▪Liaison with technical support team based in the UK and Europe.
▪Detailed knowledge of clients products and comparisons to competitor products.
▪Keeping up to date with trends in the AV industry. Monitoring competitor product development.
▪Arranging, organising and hosting regular client interactions and events.
▪Chairing one UK team meeting each month. (Team meetings are held each week with rotation of the chairperson).
▪Ensuring that UK product stocking levels are maintained at the levels set by the managing director.
Based in Surrey salary is negotiable £40k-£50k plus generous commission scheme (which should double your salary) and benefits.
Your skills and experience
Aside from a natural sales drive, you will need to have an in depth technical understanding of audio visual products and their functionality. Our client has established a reputation for providing a high level of customer service and support, so you will need to work with the team on not only selling, but ensuring that customer satisfaction levels are maintained.
The successful candidate will be:
▪Adaptable and able to work as an integral part of a small, highly focused sales and product support team.
▪A Self-starter and a team player.
▪Strong understanding of the UK AV industry, competitor products, contact networks and technical details. Industry qualifications should support this.
▪Re enforcing and supporting the sales culture with integrity and respect for customer requirements.
▪Confident and professional presentation experience and skills.
