- The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced external Audio Visual Salesperson to grow their career with this well established technology distributor and reseller.
Working in this key role you will be interacting directly with the company's customers, vendors and partners on a daily or frequent basis.
Your key responsibilities will be to nurture your client base to increase sales and profit margin as well as uncover and win new business with both trade and end users.
Covering the UK you will ideally be based in commuting distance to our client's HQ in West Yorkshire but experience and potential is more important than location. This is seen as a key role and offers genuine career potential.
Salary is extremely competitive with uncapped commission plus car or car allowance and benefits.
Your Skills and experience
This is an exciting opportunity for an outgoing individual with excellent communications skills to develop their sales career in a profitable growing business within a well-established company.
The successful candidate will have sales experience in Audio Visual/Digital Signage related technologies.
You must be an excellent presenter and communicator with the ability to confidently build relationships with colleagues and customers and you must be technically capable.
You will be an experienced AV Integrated systems salesperson with good technical skills and sound knowledge of AV, VC IT technology and integration benefits - success in the AV Digital Signage market would be ideal.
Your key skills should include:
▪The ability to design AV solutions (which can be checked by our client's technical architects)
▪Experience of Digital signage, Display Technology TV
▪You must be a good relationship builder with excellent communication skills, both face to face and on the phone.
▪A team player you must be highly motivated and driven to succeed.
▪You must have a passion for delivering excellence in all of your communications with customers so that they see you as a “one stop shop” for all of the AV solutions.
You will be commercially astute and able to utilise your business skills to understand how the company make money and where and how the value is created. You must be a strong team player, be pro-active and driven to succeed.
The successful candidate will have:
▪At least 3 years AV and sales experience
▪Must have sound AV systems knowledge
▪Self-motivated and hungry to succeed, open and close doors.
▪Have a very strong trade and end user network and wish to develop this further
▪Be happy to travel for sales meetings
▪Excellent track record of achieving and over achieving target
▪Go get it attitude and drive to succeed
