- The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our client's successful and expanding business in the Audio Visual marketplace within both residential and commercial properties. You will be working primarily within London and the South East.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the key responsibility is to plan, source and resource new projects to ensure that our client continues to complete every project to schedule, budget and quality standards on time, every time.
Candidates must have a good knowledge of electrical and electronic installations and must also be able to demonstrate a first class track record in the costing, planning, resourcing and management of projects to meet the required demands.
System skills are important as are excellent interpersonal skills which will enable the Operations Manager to establish and maintain relationships with customers and their professional advisers being calm, confident, positive and professional at all times.
Your key responsibilities will be:
You will take technical drawings / concepts and make them into working solutions for installation at clients premises.
Ensuring projects and concepts are completed on time, within budget and meet and exceed customer expectations.
Ongoing liaison with customers.
Continued professional development to ensure technical skills and competencies are kept up-to-date.
Basic salary: Negotiable - Circa £40k-£45k dependent on experience plus vehicle and benefits.
Your Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have great technical and operations management experience within the Audio Visual and Home Automation marketplace. You will have a good understanding of Home Automation, lighting and intelligent control systems eg Crestron, Control 4, Lutron and IP Networks - knowledge of other aspects of environment control would be useful.
A strong organiser with excellent technical skills you will be able to problem solve and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure a high level of customer service is provided.
