- The Opportunity
This is an extremely important role for an Audio Visual Technical Architect who will provide technical and operational support for the execution of our client's clinical trials programme across sites in Europe, Canada and the US.
In addition, you will be responsible for designing and rolling out a blueprint for the organisation's audio-visual infrastructure globally.
Our client is a life sciences company dedicated to accelerating patient access to evidence-based innovation in mental health. Their team is comprised of 15 people, mostly based in London.
Key job deliverables will include:
▪A Technical and operational support for execution of all audio-visual aspects of clinical trials
▪A Development of high-quality and scalable audio-visual infrastructure blueprint for global roll-out
Roles and responsibilities:-
▪Technical and operational support for execution of all audio-visual aspects of clinical trials
▪A Conduct video and audio pixellation/editing of relevant patient A/V data (trials require video and audio recording) using available web platform and editing tools
▪A Liaise with relevant video and audio recording vendors (2) for management of any ongoing issues or process improvement initiatives, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to standard operating procedures
▪A Provide technical and operational support for the rest of the Operations team and for the clinical trial site staff we partner with. This will be to ensure ongoing maintenance and potential troubleshooting for clinics where we have A/V equipment installed in for our multi-country clinical trials
▪Development of high-quality and scalable audio-visual infrastructure blueprint for global roll-out
▪A Develop high-quality, operationally scalable, and cost-effective blueprint for audio-visual infrastructure required for current and future clinical trials (based on existing documentation)
▪A Customise and liaise with relevant vendors to implement blueprint in several physical locations across Europe, Canada, and/or the United States
Based in the West End of London, salary is competitive plus pension and benefits.
Your skills and Experience
The successful applicant will be:
▪A Highly technically able (supported with relevant professional training or certifications)
▪A Proven track record in Audio-Visual solutions management/deployment/design (with significant experience)
▪A Strong knowledge of AV engineering (including cloud storage system design), operation maintaining
▪A Understanding of GDPR, familiar with implementation of ICH GCP guidelines is an advantage
▪A Ability to work with Microsoft Office software platforms (including Word, Excel)
▪A Strong Project Management skills, attention to detail, and written and oral communication
▪A Ability to work within virtual teams and independently to deliver a high standard of service and documentation
▪A Flexibility to travel when required (occasional visits to sites for equipment installation and/or troubleshooting)
▪A Knowledge of healthcare/life sciences segment within A/V industry is an advantage
