- The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales manager / technical manager to work for a leading well-established manufacturer of multi-award-winning industry developers of Video / Audio control distribution systems.
The sales account manager is responsible for managing multiple clients and achieving sales targets, building relationships with new clients while nurturing relationships with existing clients. Typically has technical sales experience in Audio or Video Systems, either from an installer or sales perspective
Key Responsibilities:
▪Actively generate new sales activity while managing existing clients.
▪This role is based in the South of England and will be an external role that is home based
▪You will be target driven and need to manage the full 360 sales cycle
▪Strong computer skills including proficiency Microsoft Office
▪The role would suit someone who has excellent knowledge of Video/ Audio control as well as a strong background in developing and managing technical solutions that match the customer needs.
Based near Watford (you will be home based as our client is in the South West) - salary negotiable circa £35k-£40k p.a.plus 30% commission + generous car allowance benefits
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will have:
▪A good background in generating new sales and activities
▪Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organisational skills as well as excellent presentation and facilitation skills
▪Track record in arranging and attending meetings to develop new and existing business
▪Enter all new and existing projects into CRM
▪Good fault-finding skills to resolve technical issues
▪Competent Audio-Visual knowledge including connection of Audio and video equipment and terminating Cat5/6 sockets and equipment
▪Ambitious
▪Passionate about building a long-term career
▪Articulate, excellent oral written communication skills
▪Excellent with time management and self-organisation
▪Intelligent commercially aware
▪A solution focused approach to the business
▪Genuine desire and capacity to progress within a forward-thinking organisation
