- The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Audio Visual Salesperson -with good technical skills -to join this growing and successful systems integrator.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
▪BDM will be expected to concentrate on winning new business and managing existing accounts based in the North of England.This is a field sales role so the BDM will be home based with travel throughout the sales territory and possible nights away as required.
▪A background of dealing at C-Level/Head of Department is required with associated presentation and account management skills.
▪An understanding and detailed knowledge of audio-visual technologies is needed, with particular emphasis on interactive technologies, video conferencing, digital signage, projection systems and IT integration.
▪The role holder must be fully self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed, performance will be monitored against a set of business KPIs including minimum call rates and forward pipeline sales value as well as order intake and invoiced out sales.
▪Technical pre-sales support will be provided by the Projects team to ensure that Tenders, RFPs and quotations are technically validated and fit for purpose.
▪Sales support and mentoring will be provided by the Sales Director who will be actively engaged with major accounts and large opportunities to ensure peer to peer contact and board level support where required.
▪A full driving licence is required and preferably clean.
Your key responsibilities will be to nurture your client base to increase sales and profit margin as well as uncover and win new business from both corporate and public sector including Universities.
Basic salary is extremely competitive circa £35k-£40k dependent upon experience excellent OTE £55k-£60k p.a. (uncapped), company car (or car allowance) and benefits.
Your Skills and experience
You must be an experienced AV Integrated systems salesperson with good technical skills and sound knowledge of AV, VC IT technology and integration benefits.
Your key skills should include:
▪The ability to design AV solutions (which can be checked by our clients technical architects)
▪Experience of AC/VC, Digital Signage, Control room systems (Crestron), Touch Technology and full integrated solutions.
▪You must be a good relationship builder with excellent communication skills, both face to face and on the phone.
▪A team player, you must be highly motivated and driven to succeed.
▪You must have a passion for delivering excellence in all of your communications with customers so that they see you as a “one stop shop” for all of the AV, VC and IT solutions.
