- Are you an experienced AV and events engineer with an IT background looking for your next challenge?
Are you interested in working for a progressive and constantly evolving organisation?
Do you know all the things that have to happen for an event to go well? Are you knowledgeable about AV and Office IT? Do you enjoy being helpful... Can you think on your feet and deal with pressure?
We’re looking for an AV Events and IT Desktop Support Engineer to help at public events and to help staff with their IT needs.
You’ll have experience of supporting AV events and supporting Windows computers in an office environment and be OK to work evenings and occasional weekends. You’ll know how to troubleshoot and what steps to take to get something fixed. You’ll work flexibly to support colleagues and have strong interpersonal skills.
What the role involves:
Support the AV at public events held at the RSA
- Work with the outsourced AV Events Technician to run events, including pre-event testing and set-up

Own the event experiences for the meeting host and attendees
- Assist users with our AV facilities, including Zoom video conferencing, AirTameand ClickSharescreencasting
Provide 1st and 2nd line helpdesk and IT support to RSA staff. When there’s no AV support needed, the role will:

Log, diagnose and solve or escalate issues relating to:
- Hardware and software faults on Windows, Android and Apple devices
- Office 365, Microsoft Office 2016, SharePoint and Teams
- Create, maintain and delete user accounts on all IT systems
- Inventorise AV and IT assets
