- The Opportunity
Our client provides award winning audio-visual systems, lighting design services conference and events management. They are currently looking to employ a Lead Audio Visual Installations Commissioning Engineer to add to their growing AV Divisional team.
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of installing a wide range of AV related systems with a min 5 years experience.
The role involves the installation of integrated AV equipment into various commercial environments and high-end residential properties at various sites across the UK, but mainly supporting the activities of the wider AV Division in around central London and the wider UK.
Salary Competitive and negotiable plus company vehicle and benefits.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible on travel and working hours as time working away is a key part of this role. Expenses inc travel overnight allowance will be provided as required.
Your skills and experience
You must be a proven AV Installation Engineer with a good working knowledge of commercial residential AV installations and the latest AV VC technologies. Must be proficient installing modern AV infrastructure and AV equipment, including projectors, displays, control technologies and audio systems.
Experience working in varied environments and liaising with senior clients would be an advantage.
You are likely to have a qualification in AV or electronic installation (such as Avixa CTS/CEDIA).
The ideal candidate will have an interest and knowledge of a variety of AV technologies, either commercially focussed or high end residential AV and control systems and will possess a desire to develop this interest to the highest levels. This will involve all necessary training and support from manufacturers to ensure the knowledge and skills levels are maintained. Progression will depend on the exact mix of skills presented by the candidate and a flexible and supportive career development path is ensured.
A full driving licence is essential.
