- The Opportunity
Our client is currently seeking an experienced AV Field Service Engineer based out of their Lancs office. Although the role with be based predominantly in the North of England, national and international travel will be required.
The successful candidate must be highly motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Reporting into the Support Manager duties will include, but are not limited to:
▪Providing first line telephone support
▪Providing second line on-site support
▪De/Reinstalling faulty equipment ensuring any programs or configuration files are installed
▪Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance visits
▪Assisting in the commissioning of AV systems
▪Providing basic customer training on system operation
Based in Lancs - Preston/Blackburn area, salary is negotiable circa £28k-£30k doe (this could be higher for someone vastly experienced), plus van, pension and benefits.
Your skills and experience
The following are essential for the role:
▪Full driving licence
▪Good verbal and written communication skills
▪Technical knowledge of AV systems
▪Working knowledge of networking
▪The ability to read schematic diagrams
▪Technical knowledge of AV control systems and audio DSPs
▪Good fault-finding skills
▪The ability to work under pressure
▪Excellent customer service skills
