- OverviewADXBA are specialists in digital signage solutions, and have designed installed and maintained a vast array of large format screens throughout the UK and Europe in Airports, Railway Stations, Shopping Malls and major retailers. Due to expansion we are now looking to recruit in our Projects Department.Main responsibilities will include; to maintain, manage and install our client's inventory and work proactively within the Projects team. As part of this responsibility you will be required to ensure that the digital signage sites we manage for our clients are kept serviceable. You may also be responsible for training others to use the equipment.In particular we are looking for candidates that have extensive experience in the installation and servicing of both indoor and outdoor signage.The role will be predominantly based in the home region of the technician however due to the nature of the business the candidate will also be required to travel to other regions and abroad to assist in works.This is a key position at ADXBA and carries with it a responsibility to maintain our reputation with new and existing clients.
Based in Crawley - salary neg.doe circa £30k p.a. plus benefitsRole Responsibilities● Installation of Digital Signage (standalone units, Videowalls and LED displays)○ Construction Site Management■ Site Inductions for all operatives■ Coordination of site works and logistics■ Health & Safety Site Management■ Toolbox talks■ Ensure good housekeeping on site■ Manage tools and equipment required for each project○ Install frameworks and structures, including:■ Assembly of steel/aluminium and Unistrut systems■ Fixing of structures to either floors / walls or ceilings■ Following guidelines and instructions to ensure installed correctly○ Installation of displays and related technology■ Safe and careful installation of displays, ensuring not to physically damage the displays/modules.■ Using wiring diagrams to correctly wire the systems■ Commissioning and aligning multiple displays and cabinets.○ Installation Commissioning■ Test and commission display installations and prove working to required levels○ Paperwork and administration■ Ensure concise end of shift reports are sent to line management with pictures■ Ensure that Job Briefs / Packs are sent back completed to ensure ability to close jobs○ Ensure all equipment is tested prior to installation○ Safe operation of access equipment/ tools● On-site Relationships○ Build relationships with clients and sites to ensure good working practices○ Including activating and managing Work Permits, Security Passes and conforming to on on-site requirements.Minor Responsibilities● Working with team in writing of RAMS for works● Lead jobs when assigned, and lead by example● Work within Installation team as required● Responsible for the cleanliness and state of currently assigned company vehicleThe Ideal Candidate will have:● Good verbal and written communication skills● Competent IT knowledge (Inc Microsoft Office/Google products)● Extensive on-site installation experience● Experience and working knowledge of display / AV and computer hardware / software● Experience of static signage installation and maintenance● Basic knowledge of electrical installations● The ability to resolve and diagnose faults as they are encountered but understand when to refer to others for assistance● The ability to work using your own initiative as well as work within a team● Good people skills and customer service ethic● Flexibility● Problem solving skills● Organisational skills● Punctuality● The ability to multitask● Ability to make decisions under pressure and deal with complaints● A clean and full driving license● The ability to conduct behavior and attitude in an appropriate and professional mannerTraining & Qualifications Desirable:● SMSTS/SSSTS● IPAF PAL Licence - 3a and 3b minimum● PASMA● Working at Height● Manual Handling● Abrasive WheelsThis job description sets out the scope and main duties of your role.
