- The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a successful Audio Visual company and receive on-going training as an Audio Visual trainee engineer.
Our client has a permanent full-time position available immediately for a Trainee Audio Visual Installation Engineer.
Working as part of a small team, our client is involved in the installation and integration of high end residential home cinema and home automation projects including Hi-Fi, Control Systems, Screens etc., as well as fit outs of AV equipment in Restaurants and retail premises, primarily in the North West.
Full training is provided internally, further manufacturer training will be offered to candidates who display the required technical ability.
A strong work ethic and the ability to work alone on own initiative or as part of a team is a must
Carrying out first and second fix installation activities on time and to the required standard, under the guidance and direction of Senior Engineers
You will also be involved in shadowing the MD to learn the full processes of an AV business from administration and sales to engineering and commissioning.
Based in Bolton salary is circa £18k-£20k + p.a. plus benefits and training.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will ideally have Electronics or Electrical qualifications or background preferred or with a degree in AV or similar.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to work both as part of a team or in isolation, while maintaining the highest levels of quality.
Be presentable, articulate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Meeting or exceeding all set performance project objectives.
Working in collaboration with colleagues and 3rd-parties to ensure customer satisfaction.
Be organised, flexible and able to overcome challenges during the working day
A strong work ethic is a must.
You must have a valid driver's licence
