Description
The Opportunity

Our client is looking to expand their team with the addition of two Business Development salespeople to work in the AV/UC Integration team. They are looking for highly motivated Self Starters with AV and UC experience ideally selling into corporates.

The successful candidates would need to be able to effectively communicate our client's products and service offerings, whilst maintaining the highest levels of credibility and integrity.

You will be home based however travel to customers sites is expected when required. There is no specific location for the role so please apply if you have the experience and live in England.

Primary Responsibilities

You will be responsible for identifying new sales leads, then proactively looking to convert these leads.
You will be expected to nurture client relationships ensuring that clients always receive the highest levels of customer service
Respond to clients in a timely manner ensuring that the customer is always updated on progress
Achievement of specific sales targets
Liaising with operations to ensure the highest level of service is received and that the job is carried out in accordance with the customers' instructions
Good organisational, planning ability and time management skills
Adaptability/Flexibility to facilitate the needs of the business
Genuine interest in AV/UC essential
Winning AV/UC design, installation and maintenance contracts
Targeting consultant, contractor and, predominantly, end clients across the UK
Identifying (lead generation) and closing opportunities for new business growth
Carrying out site surveys and formulating accurate and competitive proposals

Salary is negotiable doe plus open ended commission and benefits.

Your skills and experience

The successful candidate must have:

At least 2 years experience within Business Development, Telesales, New Business, Account Manager or Sales role

Experience within the Audio Visual and Unified Communications (AV/UC) industry is essential
Proven record of winning new business and achieving targets
Ability to manage a busy workload
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate

To succeed in this role, you must be focused on achieving your target through provision of a good service, be extremely determined and resilient. You must be able to work on your own initiative and without supervision, reporting to the sales manager.
If you are target driven, ambitious and have a proven ability to sell specialist technical services, this is a great opportunity for you.

A clean driving licence is also required.
