- The Opportunity
This is an exciting role for a Media Technician to work in a state of the art conference centre in Liverpool.
Job role:
To produce well planned and executed hybrid and virtual events and video projects
To use technology to deliver highest quality virtual and hybrid meetings, conferences and video content
To be skilled and knowledgeable in the configuration and operation of a broad range of video production and streaming technologies
To be organised, creative, positive, team and customer focussed in everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
To have a full working knowledge of all video and streaming equipment and services within the estate.
To take a brief from internal and external clients and produce a high-quality technical solution.
To lead a team of technicians producing hybrid and virtual events and video content
To provide expert advice to clients during the planning of a project or event.
To ensure that all video and streaming equipment is maintained and correctly stored.
The purpose of your role

To support the Events sales team with expert technical video production knowledge

The audio-visual, technical and media services (AVTMS) Technician role is a demanding and rewarding role that underpins the whole service delivery strategy for AVTMS within the building. You will be expected to provide technical expertise to support conference, webinars and content creation (filming and editing). You will be supported to reach a high level of competence across a wide range of event technology disciplines. You will be encouraged to approach all the tasks assigned to you with a positive, supportive and collaborative mindset.
Based in Liverpool salary £25k-£27k p.a. plus benefits plus our client is currently offering a Market Forces Premium of up to £5k p.a. (payable for the first 6-9 months thereafter subject to review*).
*The Market Forces Supplement will be periodically reviewed, based on benchmarking data. The supplement is non- contractual and can be changed or removed based on changes to the job market.Demonstrable knowledge of video production disciplines (cameras, photography, editing, streaming)
Your skills and experience:
Demonstrable knowledge of video production disciplines (cameras, photography, editing, streaming)
Working in a customer facing role in the audio-visual, events or technical arts industries
A technical or creative art qualification (desirable)
Self-motivated, inquisitive and methodical
Excellent problem-solving skills
Customer focused, excellent communication skills
Remains calm under pressure
