- The Opportunity
This is an exciting role for an AV Engineer who wants to be part of a fast-growing company that supports career development and works with a variety of prestigious organisations alongside a team of professionals who thrive on delivering exceptional results for customers.
Key responsibilities:
To provide installation services on a wide range of integrated audio visual and video conferencing technologies in both the corporate and public sectors.
You will install whole systems, including classroom solutions (interactive technologies, classroom audio, projectors and screens), board room systems (audio and video), video conferencing suites and digital signage. Some systems will also require installation of Crestron and AMX control systems and appropriate cabling infrastructure. Knowledge of Cloud based solutions for interop and the wide range of Teams meeting room systems is desired.
Based in Derby- Salary will be circa £30kp.a. Car allowance or use of company van, pension and benefits.
Your skills and experience
The Ideal AV Engineer will:
Be looking to take their career to the next level as project engineer and come from an experienced AV integration background with a proven track record of success. You will also have:
Proven history of work within a similar role in the industry
Experience working in IT/Network installations, experience of Microsoft Surfacehubs Teams Rooms configurations preferred.
Ability to manage installations
A flexible approach to working hours (as some weekend/evening work may be necessary).
Familiar with major AV manufacturers including legacy manufacturers/systems.
Be willing to attend various training courses and complete manufacturer accreditations.
Hold a clean driving licence, travelling is an essential part of the role.
