- The Opportunity
Our client is a global company who are at the leading edge of technology in the Audio Visual world, including virtual technology, multi-dimensional sound and crystal clear display, taking customers from conceptual phase of the project to reality with the support of top class designers and engineers.
Your role as Sales Executive reports directly to the Senior Management team.
Nurturing existing accounts and maximising sale opportunities with inbound and external leads.
Providing technically competent quotes and working closely with the wider team on the technical delivery.
Summary of your principal duties and responsibilities:
Managing client relationships, to maintain and grow the business.
Attend client meeting and site visits as required.
Take detailed client briefs.
Work with the installation and operations team to convert the brief into an accurate technical proposal.
Encourage and build strong relationships with key individuals and major clients, professionally and socially.
Identify potential development to Companys ‘offer to meet the customers additional needs.
Seek out and source new sales opportunities
Attend trade shows/ award ceremonies when appropriate.
Research the latest technology and advise company appropriately.
Liaise with the management team to develop key manufacturer partnerships
Provide support out of hours when required.
Technical equipment research and training as appropriate.
Maintain and update sales forecast.
To perform other duties as assigned by and discussed with the Senior Management team
Based in Herts/North London salary is negotiable doe circa £55k p.a. plus bonus and benefits.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate -
Will have at least 3 years experience in this sector.
Experience with technology sales and installation procedures to colleges universities, corporate, local and national government customers, along with a knowledge of construction management and solid leadership abilities are required.
Will have established industry and manufacturer connections.
Strong sales achievement record.
Strong presentation and demonstration skills
Strong networking and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers and suppliers in both formal and informal situations.
Self-motivated with a passion for results.
Ability to prepare and present reports to senior level.
Highly IT literate, with good knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and experience of CRM systems.
Membership or certification in Avixia, InfoComm, NSCA, or any other pertinent audiovisual industry programs is an advantage.
Full valid driving licence and ability to travel, sometimes at short notice.
