- The Opportunity
Our client is a global company who are at the leading edge of technology in the Audio Visual world, including virtual technology, multi-dimensional sound and crystal clear display taking customers from conceptual phase of the project to reality with the support of top class designers and engineers.
Working closely with the Sales Project Team to deliver high standard Audio Visual Installation and providing on-site post-Sales support. As Installation Engineer you will contribute to the preparation of Technically accurate bids. Work on site delivering the agreed technical solution
and work closely with the wider team on the technical delivery, quality control and post-sales support.
Summary of principal duties and responsibilities:
Perform the integration of complex Audio Visual systems to a high standard
Install equipment in existing client facilities or in facilities under construction
Build and wire racks meticulously
Termination of a variety of signal cabling
Adjust audio/visual systems to optimise performance levels
Assist in testing and debugging of completed installations
Maintain cleanliness of all parts, tools, and equipment
Attend client meeting and site visits as required.
Provide support out of hours when required.
Technical equipment research and training as appropriate.
To perform other duties as assigned by and discussed with the Senior Management team
Based in North London/Herts with some travel throughout Europe and the UK, salary is £30k-£35k neg. doe plus benefits.
Your skills and experience
Be able to work from Schematics and plans with accuracy and attention to detail
Minimum of 2 years as a qualified and competent tradesperson
Minimum of 2 years of technical industry experience (Audio, Video, Lighting, Control)
Industry Certification relevant to the role an advantage
Existing product and programming qualifications or equivalent experience an advantage
