These assets represent the culmination of an ongoing £20 million campus re-development, providing our students, staff, clients and the public with access to the very best equipment and facilities these industries have to offer.We are an ambitious forward-thinking technical department, where development and new technologies that may enhance the experience of our students and commercial partners is encouraged.We are looking for someone to play a key role in the technical production of content for the Confetti Media Group family of companies. You will have high standards and an enthusiastic and conscientious attitude towards your work.In this role, you will:Be responsible for the maintenance and operation of equipment used to create and deliver programming and live event broadcasts for Notts TV, Metronome, Confetti X, Nottingham Trent University and more.Play a key role in the production of media assets and further initiatives to assist both internal and external clients.Use your expertise to advise and guide students and staff within the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies on best use and care of production equipment.The type of content produced is varied and will range from single camera shoots on location, to multi-camera live broadcasts of esports events, and everything in between.You will have:Knowledge and experience with video cameras, lighting, and gripA good working knowledge of audio systems and microphones used in media production is also required.Experience of video editingA good understanding of video codecs and rendering formatsExperience working with virtual production techniques, incorporating unreal engine and LED volume would be highly desirable.Salary package is £22.5k - £28k p.a. doe for 40 hour week, applications can be made for full or part time hours.Benefits: 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure.
