- The Opportunity
Our client has forged a reputation within the AV industry for installations of the highest quality and class. Their Senior Engineers are the front line in ensuring that this quality is maintained and upheld throughout their work. By taking the lead at larger projects and training Junior Engineers to ensure they are trained to a high standard, you will play a fundamental part to ensure this reputation keeps building.
Typically, the daily duties of the Senior Installation Engineer will include:
Oversee a constantly evolving portfolio of projects, ensuring that our client's meticulous standards are constantly delivered.
Deputise for the Project Manager on site surveys and client meetings as required.
Work alongside Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of installation projects.
Attend site surveys, liaise with clients, and site managers as required by Project Manager.
Head up the onsite engineering team on larger scale jobs as required by Project Manager.
Oversee Health and Safety implementation on sites you are responsible for.
Hand over jobs to engineering teams when required by Project Manager.
Be a first point of contact for engineers who require assistance on any of your sites.
Manage and oversee the development of Junior Engineers.
Possess an in-depth knowledge of installation techniques and the equipment that we are integrating.
Manage the timely completion of projects you are overseeing.
Ensure company standards are maintained throughout
Based in Oxfordshire, Salary £35k-£40k p.a. neg.plus overtime scheme, company van, uniform and other benefits.
Your skills and experience
Extensive experience of AV installation.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong experience of working on both building sites and corporate environments.
Knowledge and experience of implementing Health and Safety policies on site.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to think laterally and problem solve on your feet.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Full Driving Licence.

Senior Installation Engineers will:
Be a strong leader with the ability to drive their team while also motivating and developing their skills.
Be able to demonstrate, develop and maintain an understanding of products technologies.
Have a keen awareness of Health and Safety to ensure that Company policies are always adhered to.
Have excellent communication skills to be able interact with site managers and corporate clients.
Provide continual feedback to the Project Manager in relation to onsite activity procedures.
