They are looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to manage existing sales and drive the company's ambitious but realistic growth targets.
Your role is to be a leader within the sales team: to be the strongest sales performer, demonstrating excellence in execution. You will manage, develop and grow the largest and most profitable partners within the business. An astute Account Manager, you will maintain excellent client relationships, deliver in depth account mapping, exceptional account penetration and add value at every point of contact.
You will be a trusted advisor and as such, you will introduce new technologies and trends to your client base, continuously updating them with effective solutions for their business.
You will be responsible for driving growth within your Premier accounts, achieving targeted growth from a mixture of leads generated within your own account base and those created by the Business Development Team; whose goal is to ensure that you and other Senior Business Development Managers are consistently supplied with the additional leads they need to achieve growth.
General Responsibilities:
Effectively account manage your Premier account client base.
Make regular contact with client base, by telephone, email and in person.
Manage relationships with all stakeholders, effectively map customers and develop relationships with all key players within client base.
Identify sales opportunities by generating leads for yourself from within your client base.
Qualify and win new sales opportunities generated by yourself and the Business Development Team.
Seek opportunities to expand product service offer into client base.
Manage customer enquiries within agreed SLAs.
Achieve monthly margin targets.
Accurately forecast sales expectation.
Work collaboratively within team to ensure wider business success.
Based from the Reading Office, salary is circa £32k-£36k p.a. £50k OTE plus performance bonus and benefits.
Your skills and experience
You must have a minimum of 5 years experience in B2B Account Management within the corporate AV industry.
Solution oriented with experience of consultative project sales.
Ability to work autonomously and plan/manage your own time.
Ability to develop opportunities with existing customers as well as identifying and sourcing new business.
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal with strong organisational skills.
