- The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to join within a leading end-to-end audio-visual solutions provider as av Field Support Engineer.
AV Support Installation Engineers support, install, implement, and configure both simple and complex AV technologies to meet the needs of the organisation. Theyre responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the AV systems and solutions that we provide both onsite and remotely.
Role Description
Maintenance, troubleshooting and problem-solving of hardware and software
When required ensure that AV hardware and software is prepared to meet the needs of the support ticket/installation.
When required offer plans and advice for Projects, Service and Sales.
Storing, transporting, assembling, and disassembling AV equipment.
Ensuring the production and updating of AV documentation such as user guides.
Cabling and wiring to implement technologies into AV setups.
Ensuring timesheets and tickets are up to date daily.
Communicating with the customer regarding the support ticket status.
Based in Greater Manchester, salary is neg.doe £35k-£40k plus benefits.
Your skills and experience
The ability to clearly understand to and respond to needs as communicated by other members of the team.
Good communication skills both verbal and written, being able to communicate with internal and external customers.
Customer focused approach.
CSCS/ECS Certification
Avixa CTS Certification or similar
Experience/Qualifications with Crestron/QSC
Experience with audio platforms such as Audio Architect
Experience with Shure/Yamaha Microphone systems
IPAF 3a and 3b MEWPS
Working at Height Training
Comptia a+
IPAF Harness Use and Inspection
CISRS Scaffolding Training - if required
Competence with video conference and broadcasting systems.
Expertise in processing control, routing, and audio video signal flow with broadcast software.
Understanding AV technologies and IT systems on a technical level.
Awareness of the latest trends, hardware, and features in AV equipment.
Proven experience as sound engineer.
Technical expertise in sound engineering techniques.
Experience with sound editing and recording equipment.
Working knowledge of recording software and hardware.
