“Reducing the Supreme by 25 per cent in comparison to previous videowall mounts and making them easier for one-man handling and positioning was important, especially when combined with the easy hang adaptor plate, install app and reusable display-dedicated wall plate spacers,” says Keith Dutch, managing director, Peerless-AV EMEA.
Display alignment also makes the mount stand out from the crowd. The Supreme’s tool-less lateral micro adjustment and distinctive red adjustment knobs means installers can easily identify the locations for 38mm of fine tuning on the X, Y and Z axis, eliminating the need for tedious calculations and helping to create seamlessly aligned videowalls.
Dutch says: “On the DS-VW775 model, access for servicing and maintenance serviceability is now even simpler owing to red pop-out levers – a feature held by no other universal mount on the market. Pull one of the levers to release the mount for an increased amount of service space.”
The Supreme offers a multitude of configuration possibilities in many application environments; from retail and transportation through to control centres and education. During the product’s R&D stages, micro adjustment and serviceability were identified as valued features. Customer feedback so far has also revealed the smooth glide action of the scissor arms, when extended and retracted, to be particularly useful, along with the mount’s re-usable spacers for portrait and landscape applications.
Dutch foresees that with the displays market set to continue to grow significantly in 2017, demand for mounting solutions will only increase in parallel. Peerless-AV will continue working with display manufacturers and installers to help make its mounting solutions as compatible as possible and address functionality to speed up and simplify installation.
