Executive team roles
Rosica has appointed Ken Gayron as chief financial officer and vice president. Gayron has substantial experience in software and technology and has worked half of his career in senior finance management for public companies, having previously worked in investment banking. Brian Agle, who was previously CFO and SVP has departed Avid to pursue other interests.

Coinciding with my first 100 days as CEO, I’m pleased to announce these strategic appointments that will enhance our executive and senior leadership teams in order to reinforce our ability to better capitalise on the opportunities in front of us and optimise business performance.”
Rosica has also promoted Jason Duva to the newly created role of chief legal and adminstrative officer and executive vice president, consolidating a number of global corporate administrative functions and resources under his leadership. Duva was most recently general counsel and senior vice president of strategic initiatives.
Among other changes to leadership responsibilities, chief product officer Dana Ruzicka is now responsible for all aspects of Avid’s products and technology organisations, from technology strategy to product portfolio management, engineering development and commercialisation strategy. Dave Perillo has been promoted to senior vice president of global supply chain operations and elevated to the executive leadership team. He was previously vice president of global supply chain.
Diana Brunelle has been appointed chief human resources officer and vice president, reporting to Duva, while Perillo reports to Rosica. Both join the executive team which includes Duva, Gayron and Ruzicka, as well as Tom Cordiner, senior vice president of global sales, and Peter Ennis, senior vice president of global services and support.
Senior leadership promotions
Industry veteran Tim Claman has been appointed chief technology officer and vice president of product management, reporting to Ruzicka. He was previously vice president of platform and solutions and has held senior executive positions in the media technology industry.
Sharon McGowan-Spinelli has been promoted to the newly created role of vice president of business operations, reporting to Duva. McGowan-Spinelli previously held the role of vice president of global sales and marketing operations and enablement for Avid.
Avid has promoted Alessandra Melloni to general counsel and vice president, reporting to Duva. She joined the company’s legal team in 2014, most recently serving as assistant general counsel.
