Toshiba is also announcing ambitious growth targets ahead of the event, as it aims to double year-on-year revenues in FY18. This follows an increase in its number of active partners across Europe by 75 per cent year-on-year, and expansion into new territories with projects in the Middle East, the Far East and Africa. Continued territory expansion is projected to account for up to 25 per cent of revenues in the coming year.
Embedded signage models, developed in co-operation with partners including M4B, SignStix, Deneva, Red-V and Assinfonet, were responsible for delivering one-fifth of revenues in 2017, and collaboration with system integrators and software houses will remain a priority for the year ahead. This combination of a strong existing customer base and an increased portfolio of SoC-based products is expected to deliver 75 per cent of revenues in 2018.
Such products, including the 24/7 TD-P3 large screen UHD series, 24/7 TD-Q3 high brightness series, and TD-Y3 videowall series, will be on display at ISE, demonstrating the breadth of Toshiba’s embedded signage proposition.
“ISE 2018 marks an exciting time for us as we celebrate our fifth year in the European business display market. I’m proud to have met the ambitious goals we set ourselves to drive growth in 2017 – including delivering a comprehensive range of solutions, securing new embedded signage and software partnerships, and further developing our strategic partner relationships across Europe and beyond,” said Go Inoue, vice president of visual solutions business at Toshiba Europe. “We now have a strong platform firmly in place as we aim to continue on this impressive growth trajectory in 2018, and we’re delighted to begin doing so by exhibiting a compelling line-up of display solutions at ISE.”
Beyond delivering innovative hardware and software solutions, Toshiba will continue to focus on ensuring it offers customers fully customisable solutions which are tailored to fit their needs, as well as the consultancy and support needed to integrate these into the business.
Located on Stand 3-C120, Toshiba’s presence at ISE will feature a variety of displays designed to meet needs across numerous sectors, including retail, corporate, education, and quick service restaurants (QSRs). Products on display will include the brand-new TD-P3 large screen UHD models ranging from 75in to 98in, as well as the recently launched TD-Y3 videowall series with 3.5mm narrow bezels.
Toshiba’s exhibit will also encompass innovative new touch, stretched and automated voice assistant displays, as well as two kiosk solutions including a QSR ordering solution in partnership with M4B, and a Virtual Porter from m.i.b. Embedded signage partners Deneva, M4B, Red-V and SignStix will join Toshiba on stand, as will Assinfonet which will be showcasing the latest in education display solutions.
